Dashboard Components

• Dashboards are extensible tool sets containing:
  • Custom widgets to give users a quick overview of key metrics.
  • Launch-pads to commonly used functions.
• Their contents are User specific.
• Additionally the following Dashboard components can be included:
  • Dynamic Queries.
  • Custom Built Components.

Mandatory Prerequisites

There are no Mandatory Prerequisites related to creating a Dashboard.

The Dashboard contents shown above are an example only. Users can select and position the contents of their own Dashboard.

Components: this is a drop down list of available Dashboard components. It appears in the Dashboard Application toolbar: Add Dashboard Component.

How Do I : Display and Maintain the Dashboard

1. The Dashboard is called by selecting it from the Ribbon tool-bar push button: Dashboard.
2. To Add a Component, select it from the Application tool-bar push button: Add Dashboard Component.
3. Click the neighbouring push-button: Add.
4. The Component will appear in the Dashboard where it can be positioned, docked, undocked and deleted.
